SFAA Educates Ironworkers on Surety Bonding

Tuesday, March 25, 2014
Sam Carradine, SFAA’s Development and Diversity Consultant, recently conducted a workshop—“Understanding Bonding: What It Is and How to Obtain It”—at the North American Iron Workers/ IMPACT Labor Management Conference held in Las Vegas. This workshop is part of an ongoing collaboration between SFAA and IMPACT to work together to increase bonding opportunities and technical assistance for emerging ironworking contractors and to provide them with informational and educational support. SFAA signed an MOU with IMPACT in 2013.

Josh Etemadi and Edin Zukanovich, both surety bond producers with Construction Bonds, Inc., also participated in the workshop. Their agency has been active in the efforts to provide greater access to bonding for small and emerging contractors.
