Statistical Reporting
Companies that write fidelity and/or surety business may
report statistics to the SFAA
on an annual basis. Reporting companies must
use the codes specified in the
SFAA
Fidelity and Surety Statistical Plan to submit data to SFAA. Upon
receipt of
company data, a series of edits are performed to check for accuracy
and validity. These
edits are defined in the SFAA
Actuarial Edit Definitions. At the end of each calendar year,
the SFAA
posts to this site the Call
for Statistics which provides the guidelines, the mailing
address, and the
due date for submitting data.
Questions about reporting fidelity and surety statistics to SFAA should be
directed to
Edward O'Donnell at or
202-778-3632.
