Surety Information Office (SIO)The Surety Information Office (SIO) is the information source on contract surety bonds. SIO was formed in 1993 with the mission "to increase the use of contract surety bonds in the private sector, and foster dissemination of positive information on the important role of corporate suretyship in public and private construction." SIO is supported by the National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP) and The Surety & Fidelity Association of America. The Surety Information Office (SIO) distributes information about the benefits of contract surety bonding in public and private construction.
